What does my vote mean to me?


There was a time not very long ago that people of color were told what to wear and how to wear it. The mere showing of ones hair was deemed illegal. Women were considered to be worth less than men and even less than their male children. To be a woman of color you had a price but you weren't considered to be priceless. Well it's been a long time since I've said anything in this space so I'm taking today to say vote! Go out and be heard for all who've been and still are silenced. Every person in this country are like threads of a fabric. With with every generation this blanket of freedoms will tell a story. So be heard!
